Selecting A Good Reader


Today finding a reader is easy, if not a little overwhelming. Some readers are ethical and some are down right frauds. If you do not know one, how does one go about finding one? Many of us live in a large metropolitan areas that allow a variety of choices of proessional readers. Today you can find them on-line, tea houses, psychic fairs or even from roadside signs.

So how can one navigate the New Age path, from incompetence or frauds? With a few simple guidelines you can forearm yourself as you travel the road to a reader. First and foremost, remember that everyone has some type of psychic ability. Anyone who tells you differently is misleading you, not everyone is in touch with their psychic-side but everyone has one. Remember that just because you’re not a psychic doesn’t mean that you are not competent of making good decisions.

Readers give guidance or a different point of view, any that tell you differently are not worth their salt. The more you know, the better your experience. Don’t over simplify by saying one type of reading (like tarot or astrology) fits a certain need better than another, it’s what you feel comfortable! Usually any kind of reading can help address any life question, it is a readers’ psychic skills, and their ability with divination tools, that brings the answers.

One of the best ways to finda reader is by referral. Ask around, friends, family-members or even co-workers that have received readings are a good place to start. Get to know the reader, don’t be afraid to ask questions. Any good readers loves to be helpful and give answers about their talent, and by doing so you can determine their experienceand qualifications. So lets us begin!

Questions like why did you start doing readings? How did you become a reader? What is your spiritual beliefs? What is your philosophy about what you do? What kind of information can you expect to get from a reading? What the readings are typically like?

In this modern age, most readers tape your reading. Because honestly, no one can possible remember every word said during a reading, and by recording your reading you can get the fullest out of your time and money. And if they charge you extra or prevent from bringing your recorder- -WALK AWAY!

Don’t forget to your own psychic abilities, use your gut feeling when you first meet a reader. Do you feel comfortable in your surroundings? Do you feel comfortable talking to them? The more background information the reader knows about your query, the more details you’ll get, better the read. But please remember to stay on the subject, no reader wants to hear about every problem your having. They are readers not your therapist! If you respect them, they’ll respect you! By remembering these shortlist of questions, not only do you have a better reading you get a better reader! If you feel clearly positive about your first impressions, then quiet likely to have a good working rapport. By answering these kinds of questions,not only are you evaluating your reader objectively, your using one of your best resources - your intuition! :)
